About Us

A Locally Owned Team, Focused on Your Family

Peaceful Home Care was built around a simple idea: care should feel personal, not procedural. As a locally owned home care company, we take the time to understand each client and each family before support ever begins, because trust is built through communication, not paperwork.

Every plan of care is shaped around the individual: their routines, their preferences, and their pace. We believe growing older, healing, or simply needing a little extra help at home should never mean losing dignity, independence, or comfort. Our role is to support that with patience, respect, and genuine compassion, and to keep families informed and involved as care continues.

Frequently Asked Questions

About Our Services

When someone you love needs help at home, trust comes first. We understand that welcoming a caregiver into your family’s home is a decision made with both your heart and your head. Peaceful Home Care is licensed by the State of California (License # 194701322), and every caregiver is background-checked, registered, trained, and bonded. You can verify our license yourself, because we believe trust should be earned, not requested.

Hands-on help with everyday life at home: personal care such as bathing, dressing, and toileting; companionship; meal preparation; light housekeeping; errands and transportation; and reminders. It does not include medical care such as injections, wound care, or nursing.

Caregivers can remind clients to take medication and assist with medication they take on their own. They cannot administer medication, decide on doses, or manage medical equipment. We coordinate with your doctor, home health agency, or hospice when medical care is needed.

Yes. Our Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care is non-medical support built on patience, routine, safety, and companionship. If a client’s needs call for medical or specialized care outside our scope, we tell you up front.

We provide non-medical comfort and support alongside a client’s hospice or medical team. We are not a hospice and do not provide medical care.

Yes. Our caregivers provide non-medical transportation to appointments, errands, and visits. They help with getting ready and getting in and out of the car, but do not provide medical care during the trip.

Trust and Safety

Yes. Peaceful Home Care is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as a Home Care Organization (License # 194701322). You can verify our license on the state’s Home Care Services Bureau website, and you can ask us for your caregiver’s registration number to check the Home Care Aide Registry.

Every caregiver passes a fingerprint-based criminal background check, is registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry, and is cleared for tuberculosis before working with clients. They complete orientation and safety training before their first visit and ongoing training each year.

Yes. Our caregivers are our employees, not independent contractors. Peaceful Home Care carries liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance, and our employees are bonded.

Please call us first (you can also email us at peacefulhcllc@gmail.com) and we will respond promptly. You also have the right to contact the California Department of Social Services at any time: 1-844-LET-US-NO (1-844-538-8766) or complaints.ccld.dss.ca.gov.
